If bath time is more of a chore then make it more fun and interactive with some bright colored stackable blocks or rings. Instead of asking your toddler to name the color you can ask them to put the colours in the right order according to size. By doing this they’re also learning spacial orientation at the same time and may be distracted from emptying the bath water onto the floor - at least for a minute or two anyway!
